To me, dance is more than just an artistic form of self expression for one's personal discoveries or gratification. I believe dance is not only immensely influential to a person's cognitive, physical, and creative development as well as their sense of self worth, but it is also integral to a person's social development and, therefore, to building communities.

 

As a dance artist, I ultimately hope to have the opportunity to share what dance has taught me with others. I have pursued a variety of artistic opportunities throughout my dance career in order to create versatile artistic experiences for myself to share with my community and future students. I aspire to support others in hopes they can also find a passion in their abilities.
